Y'all should know don't mess with a hitman.
Especially one with a loaded gun…and a baby on the way.
Chase
I broke all my rules for Elle Sinclair.
Don't spend more than one night with a woman.
Don't expose her to my criminal world.
And never, ever let her into my heart.
But Elle is smart and sweet as a Georgia peach—and one taste will never be enough.
I shouldn't corrupt her with my touch…but I refuse to let her go.
When I f*ck things up, she runs from me. But she should know my name by now.
I'll chase her to the ends of the earth.
Then my enemies try to use her against me, but I'll teach those boys a lesson.
I'll hunt every one of them down, all the way to the gates of Hell.
I'll do anything, and kill anyone, to rescue my woman—and my unborn child.
Dirty Chase is a standalone romance novel with no cliffhangers and no cheating, but one hot Southern hitman who helps the Dirty South live up to its nickname. Due to the tattooed guy's penchant for worshipping his woman's body—and violence; bang-bang, this is a mafia book!—this novel is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

I think this is my favorite Natasha Tanner story so far. She has a lot of good books out there, but this one packed a punch for me. Surprising, since I despise the word Princess! I guess Chase saying it makes it easier to hear. There are a few illogical things in the book that took me a few reads to conclude I was not imagining it-things were just missed in the editing process. A few typos are present as well, but just a few so that's really good. One of the illogical things that stood out for me was when (SPOILER ALERT): after Elle refused to go home with Chase, she said he never begged her to stay. But a short time later Chase says he begged her not to go, and he'd never begged a woman in his life, for anything.
One of the minor characters' name changes in the story, unfortunately. I enjoyed the little surprise character in Paris-that really packed a punch!!
The ending is intense, and emotional for me. The whole story was emotional for me. Dirty Chase has the perfect blend of characters I cared about, a plot that moved along swiftly, and enough intense conflicts to put me on the edge of my seat.

Dirty Chase A Bad Boy Mafia Romance Brooklyn Brotherhood edition by Natasha Tanner Ali Piedmont Romance eBooks Reviews
Just an ok read, I really didn't like the heroine, she just couldn't make up her mind for more than half the book. This is her talking about her and chase's relationship, It's a one night stand, no it's just a fling, even when Chase tells her she's his she still insists it just a fling. When she finally does admit she loves him boom catastrophe hits one lie later and she won't forgive him. So what does our stupid a$s female lead do...runs right into more danger and no Chase to protect her. You can't blame a man for being a hit man/killer when he told you what he did and you accepted it but decide hay I changed my mind your life's to dangerous and violent I'm leaving scratch that running away!. Ugh I hated "princess" but LOVED Chase, he needed to fall for a stronger less stupid female and this book would have rocked.
I received an ARC for an honest review.
Although this is book 2 in the series, it can be read as a stand alone, although reading Shotgun wedding is highly recommended (why not is it an awesome book also). Without giving away any of the story (I hate reading a review and finding out the whole story), Natasha and Ali have written the story in dual POV giving us complete insight into each of the characters. Their ability to make the switch seamlessly and allow the different personalities of the characters shine through the pages is one reason this book is so fantastic.
Another reason, is the emotions that are felt throughout the book. I laughed, I cried, I was absolutely gutted in the end (oops, slight spoiler). I was surprised by the emotions the writing was able to generate.
Finally, this book has everything, action, drama, sexy erotic scenes, romance, mafia hitmen, etc. This really is one book you don't want to miss. I can't wait to read Declan's story.
Vermont author Natasha Tanner currently works as a secretary in a law firm but her passion is writing - and about romance stories those antagonists are the men she hates to love and loves to hate the Bad Boys. The BAD BOYS theme is a theme Natasha (and now with co-author Ali Piedmont) has developed very well. Her 'bad boys' are basically Alpha Men who take advantage of women until a strong woman matches egos and pursuits. The interchange provides plenty of opportunities for crises and resolution of same but the concept of bad boys offers an opportunity for erotic encounters with a punch, and Natasha excels in those passages. She continues to mature as a writer and her erotic imagination keeps pace.
Natasha blends mystery, crime, gang (mafia) violence, and politics into this little sizzler of a story. This is a very strong novel and is Book 2 in the Brooklyn Brotherhood series. It's a standalone romance novel with no cliffhangers and no cheating, but one hot Southern hitman who helps the Dirty South live up to its nickname. Due to the tattooed guy's penchant for worshipping his woman's body—and violence; bang-bang, this is a mafia book!
The synopsis lays the groundwork – Chase ‘Y'all should know don't mess with a hitman. Especially one with a loaded gun…and a baby on the way. I broke all my rules for Elle Sinclair. Don't spend more than one night with a woman. Don't let her see my criminal world. And never, ever let her into my heart. But Elle is smart and sweet as a Georgia peach—and one taste will never be enough. I shouldn't drag her into my corrupt world…but I refuse to let her go. When I mess things up, she runs from me. But she should know my name by now. I'll chase her to the ends of the earth. Then my enemies try to use her against me, but I'll teach those boys a lesson. I'll hunt every one of them down, all the way to the gates of Hell. And do anything, kill anyone, to rescue my woman—and my unborn child.’
Or as Elle gives her entry, ‘I stop hard, on a dime. It's not a bear. It's a man, but he's as big as a wild creature. The stranger trying to tear the door off the hinges is tall, dark, handsome— and looks enraged. He's got one massive hand on the glass door's handle, shaking it, and the other hand is banging on the glass so hard I'm worried it will shatter. He's standing on the immaculate Upper East Side sidewalk, the midnight-blue sky behind him. Then he looks up, sees me through the glass, and his vivid blue eyes lock onto mine. He's wild but beautiful, like a wolf. The blue-black sky behind him is the perfect backdrop for his dark, feral stare. He's a study in shadows. Black jeans, black T-shirt, black ink tattoos swirling over his sculpted arms. His hair is probably dark brown, but in the dark street it looks black and blends into the night. He has a short, lush beard. A five o'clock shadow gone wild.’ And on and on.
The erotica is steamy – more so than most – and the story storms through it. Another winner for Natasha and Ali. Grady Harp, September 16

Loved this book. Can't wait to read about the other characters that were in the other books. Love mafia men.
I read the first book in this series and couldn't wait to finish reading to hopefully hear more about Kat's best friend. I was very happy to read this book and to follow Chase and Elle's story. I am now hoping something happens for Declan!
This book was just okay. Story line was interesting, and there was no cheating, which is always a plus. However, I felt the story was rushed and missing a lot of details to make the characters more real. I found myself more interested in the 2 side characters the the main ones.
I love Mafia themed stories and this was one of the best I've read. A freelance hitman who kills real bad creeps like those who hurt women and children. Loved the characters of Chase and Elle however I thought Elle waited too long to forgive Chase. What a combination, a hitman and a kindergarten teacher. This book had action, sexy scenes, romance, and some laughter along the way. Great job by the authors!!
