I found this book to be interesting and informative. Actually gave me some information I hadn't heard yet. Good to learn about the breed.
I would have rather had a updated version, but it was helpful none the less
This is a great book for first time xolo owners. Great book, lots of info you cannot find any where else.
This was a gift for someone who had just gotten a Xolo. She tells me that it's loaded with good information and she has enjoyed it immensely.
I had an interest in this rare breed and there were none in my area to go and see. This book gave me most of the information I needed about the dog and if one would fit in my life style. After reading the book I had the informaiton I needed to ask questions of breeders and others about the dogs. The information was informative and gave the good and bad about the dog which is sometimes hard to get from a breeder. I recommend this book as a good reference.
It's a fine book. I wish there had been more about the history and how to deal with things such as the wonderful skin issues they get but all in all, though not as informative as the internet, I am proud of my little chupacabras and I love having anything that pertains to their greatness.
Well done book, very informative. I have owned five Xolos and for the most part this was informative. Excellent book for someone who is thinking of getting one of these primitive breeds. The dogs are extremely intelligent, and are not for everyone, as they tend to outsmart their owners and should be in the home of experienced dog people only. I think this book will educate anyone thinking about acquiring one of these dogs, and help if you already have one.
